I realize this is an old question, but I just wanted to point out there is no dairy in mayo.
Do black people work here?
Wednesday 5 for 5 tacos is hard to beat!
I've eaten at every location since this talented lady ran the kitchen at The Beer Barrel on 4th Street in Sunbury. That's been a couple of years. I love everything that I have ever eaten at any of her restaurants. I hope that the current location is doing well. I don't get to Sunbury very often but I will not pass through without an enchilada stop. Do yourself a favor and have a real taco at Abrana Maria's. You will find taco Bell to be a let down after wards.
Food was delicious the pricing reasonable and service is outstandingly
1.39$ for an Arizona Tea is outrageous
Excellent food. Great price
Beginning to out price itself. Only thing good on the menu, enchiladas and rice
Great food
Good food, good service.
Great service. The waitress was running the front end on her own.Very Overpriced. Salsa was good but overall Food was mediocre at best. I could have made better food at home for a fraction of the costFor being the taco queen there were very limited options for tacos(bean, beef ,chicken). I ordered a chicken and a beef taco. Unseasoned meat, iceberg lettuce a few tomatoes and black olives. Very disappointing. Incredibly confused about the rave reviews this place has recieved.
This place deserves the high rating. Quick and awesome, pleasant folks who pack big flavor into a small restaurant. Would highly recommend.
I decided to give it a chance considering I pass it all the time. When I first pulled up to the restaurant I looked kinda sketchy because it seemed like they didn’t keep up with cleaning it up. The inside was so much smaller than expected which I still didn’t care about. The food came out rather quick BUT I go to open my napkin and big spider comes out of it crawling on my fork and knife. I got another fork and another spider crawled on the table. At that point I was hesitant to even eat the food. It was alright the chicken tasted like it was just canned chicken which I was expecting more fresh stuff. I would definitely recommend Playa Cancun in Bloomsburg over this place and I will not be returning I’m very grossed out
The food is excellent a people are really nice they're roast beef burrito was just excellent
Food was good worth a visit. Only downside I saw was seating area is small perfect for a grab-and-go meal
Traveling north on Hwy 15, hungry, and relying on GPS, we took a chance and detoured to have a meal at Abrana Marie's. We asked Kahla to guide us through the menu -so many good options!- and Braden prepared our choices: chicken chimachunga and a chicken and rice stuffed pepper, plus a side order of chips. Everything was delicious, hot and fresh. We loved it.
My husband's and I first time here, got something small, we got tacos. We're definitely coming back to this place.
Love the enchiladas!
Pleasantly surprised! Exceptional food and wait staff. Don’t let the looks of the place deceive you, because the friendly staff, nice decor, facility cleanliness, presentation and taste of the food will win you over. Exceptional experience! Highly recommend this restaurant.
You can't beat 5 tacos for $5 on Wednesdays
The food and service is always top notch. If you aren't sure you really want spicy hot order their medium.
First time here and loved it! Food was delicious and the staff was very friendly!
This little gem tucked by the bridge is easily this area's finest restaurant! Cute and classy enviorment, friendly staff, and the food is exquisite! I wasn't a big fan of Mexican style food until someone convinced me to try Abrana Marie's, now I'm hooked!! If you are hungry and don't have a lot of money, please skip the fast food and try the 5 tacos for 5 dollars on Wednesday. Better for your body, better for your wallet.
Good homestyle, homecooked/handmade Abrana Maries Taco Queen! Decent Prices, wide variety, and good quality/flavor. Very unique and rare environment to dine in or take out! Restaurant even has tables to dine outside as well! Taco Queen is definitely rare/one of a kind dines! Thanks
Very good Southwest style food
Fantastic food and friendly service.
Food was ok at best. Won't be rushing back anytime soon. The chicken had a strange taste to it.
Great food!! Cozy atmosphere. Wouldn't recommend for groups of more then 4 people. The resturaunt only has 4 tables that seat either 4 or 2 people. Great for a smaller group. The salsa is amazing, sweet with a little kick! The tacos are awesome as well. I do not believe there's a bad item on the menu. Would reccomend!!! 4/5
Delicious food and friendly service. I had the chicken quesadilla -- it was open-faced, which I have never had -- but so good! My mother had stuffed peppers and my sister had beef tacos -- great reviews from all. Glad this place is in Sunbury!
Yummy authentic Mexican food, spicy with loads of flavor. Most of their spices are made there and food made daily.
Amazing and authentic New Mexican cuisine! We love this place!
Very good authentic food. If you like it spicy, however, make sure to ask. Their food isn't as spicy as traditional Mexican, but that's probably because people around here aren't as fond of spicy food as other places. They will make it to order if you like it hot!
The food was ok but the woman who took the order on the phone was in a hurry and messed up our order. They better raise their game or we'll go somewhere else for Mexican food.
My car broke down across the road from this restaurant. The internet said they would be open for two hours more so we went over to eat while we waited for our tow truck. As we get there they shut the open sign off and watched us from the window. We went to Burger King in Sunbury then. The food was probably better and we know the staff was nicer.
Missed this place when it left Williamsport. But this is just as good as I remember it. It's all about the sauces. They have a bunch to choose from between mild and hot. I like 'em hot. These have good heat and good flavor. Highly recommend.
The food is great. Service was good very friendly. Authentic Mexican cuisine. The only mark against would be the seating. It's a very small place. Go for the food not the atmosphere. Be prepared to take out, you may not get a seat.
Great mexican food and family/friendly atmosphere. Awesome service.
This restaurant is a quaint little Mexican type eatery where everything is made fresh to order. The seating is limited inside, but when the weather is nice you can sit outside to eat. They have ample parking attached to the location and is free. On Wednesdays they have 5 tacos for $5. They always have specials that vary by day and what the preparer decides to make that day. This location will soon be for take-out and delivery only. Try are opening a new eat-in location in Lewisburg, PA. Although, I'm a little sad to see this location change, it will give me a reason to visit Lewisburg to eat out. I wish them luck in their new endeavors. n
What a pleasant surprise this place was. Very good food and very nice employees here.... It looks kind of like a roadside taco stand but don't let that fool you. There is seating inside or you can sit outside. Try the stuffed peppers .. Excellent
The owner has great taste for cooking and serving customers. Their food is amazing and the service experience is great. If you are thinking Taco, go to this place before you hit a chain!
I go Wednesday night. 5 tacos fir $5. Good deal. Tasty food. Make sure you call ahead because they are busy and there will be a wait.
I've been a fan of Doreen's cooking at Taco Queen (and before) since moving to. It's my favorite local restaurant. There are a few Mexican dishes on the menu but the real menu standouts are the New Mexican dishes including a few inventions by Doreen that would be well-received in Santa Fe. The restaurant is small, but cozy, and does a large carry-out business. If you're lucky, you might find authentic Mexican tamales on the menu. The chile con queso and guacamole are to die for. The food is real and fresh. Give Taco Queen a try.
I work here. Trust me. Foods awesome.
Lovely comfort food mexican. Burritos that can leave anyone weak. Just a touch smol. Not very easily accessible.
Always excellent food, great atmosphere and a friendly staff.
i think the food is meteokre & the service is slow
Food was ok but not as good as my first visit a few years ago. Prices are very high now, with ala carte on everything, even rice and beans (which are usually included at any other Southwestern or Mexican restaurant). The pleasant young waitress was working the entire room, including the patio area where I was, and doing a very good job.
I've had authentic mexican food so i am very critical. When someone recommended this place to me, i said ok i will for sure try it. Everything was overpriced and a la carte. You think that being a mexican restaurant, they would know that beans and rice comes included with the meal and shouldn't be charged separate. i ordered enchiladas, my kids got burritos, and everything came drowning in red sauce. You really couldn't taste the food, and the sauce was made out of chili powder instead of dehydrated guajillo chili's. There's more to mexican food than spicy chili through out. Everything you put on a customers table shouldn't all have the same taste. Especially when they are ordering 3 different things.
Well I heard good things about this place but maybe overhyped. The place itself is quite small so not for big parties. Service was nice. Guacamole was tasty. All that being said, the food overall seemed overpriced and the taco salad I had seemed low quality. Something I could put together at home. Not my worst experience but probably won’t come back again.
Getting your order wrong once I can understand, but twice? Got take out with them for lunch and drove back to my office. They didn't include a shrimp taco they charged me for and since the food in general is pretty expensive, I decided to drive back to pick up the rest of my order. Picked it up, drove back to the office, this one didn't have sauce. Overall the food is great so I'm not going to one star it, but how do you screw up an order twice?
Amazing food. The best Guacamole this side of the galaxy... yes, I said galaxy. We go here often and are never disappointed. BYOB of you want, but make sure you make a reservation. We always call ahead, reserve a seat and pre order the guacamole so it is ready when we get there... We have been known to bring the avocados when they don't have them... and they are happy to make the guac as long as they are ripe and ready. Amazing food.... just amazing.
Nothing fancy but the people are nice and the food is good. Fresh ingredients and they don't hold back on the portions. I ordered three tacos, assuming they were like most other restaurants, should have gotten two. And the tortilla chips were freshly made, still warm from the fryer, and I think the best I've ever had. And the garden salsa is delicious! We'll definitely be back.
